New Online Donation Button

The BHS has partnered with Groundspring.org, a firm providing web services to non-profits, to enable online donations. You will notice the "Donate Now" button on every page of the website, just above the menu.

Clicking on the Donate Now button allows BHS supporters to quickly and easily make donations via Groundspring.org's secure website using a credit card. You can even set up recurring donations which will automatically be billed to your credit card. So, for example, someone who never seems to be able to come up with $100 to donate might instead set up a recurring donation of $10 per month. Painless for you, very valuable for the BHS and all of the homeless animals that depend upon us.

BHS Gets 4 Star Rating 4 Years Running

For the fourth consecutive year, Charity Navigator has given the Berkshire Humane Society their highest rating: 4 stars. Only 4% (four percent) of the charities tracked by Charity Navigator have ever achieved the four star rating for four years in a row!
